A race of being from the planet of Thundera are banished from their home and in search of a new one. Constantly being hounded by the evil mutants the Thundercats land on the planet know as Third Earth. Lion-O, Panthro, Tigra, Cheetara, Wily Kit, Wily Kat and Snarf battle the evil forces of Mum Ra and his legions of monsters.

The Thundercats figures each featured a cool action and weapons that was character specific. LJN produced a wide variety of characters for the Thundercats to battle. From villains to heroes the Thundercats featured a figure for everyone!
