Egypt, 1928. An archaeological expedition uncovers a massive stone like ring.

Present Day. In an underground military base, the secrets of the ring are slowly being unlocked. After much information gathering, scientists have discovered the ancient ring to be a portal or gateway to other worlds. A probe is sent through and the other side is shown to be Earth-like. Now a team has been assembled to go through the gate and report back on what can be found. The question is, once on the other side, can they make it back?
