Silver Age (DC Direct) - Classic
Rated 5.00 stars by Collector1
(Joker) An age of innocence, of hope, of purity, an as bright as sterling silver. The Silver Age of comics helped save the superhero comic book from completely disappearing from popular culture by reintroducing several characters and differing them for the 1960's and created several new characters that we still love and adore today. DC Direct pays tribute to this important, if not some times groan inducing and migraine irritating era, with a series of toy's based on the character designs from that era. This box set includes the Barbra Gordan incarnation of Batgirl and the Silver Age Joker. The review will cover the Clown Prince of Crime himself, the Joker! The Joker stands about six and a half inches tall and includes his famed Joker Cane, the top modeled after his delightfully...[See More]

The Silver Age of Comics was all of these and more as we look back through time via old back issues and comic collections. This box set comes with the Barbra Gordan Batgirl and Joker. This review will cover Batgirl. Batgirl is six inches tall, give or take a few millimeters and batarang, and a foot of string attached to a suction cup which is supposed to be a "Batrope". Frenzy
Transformers - Movie (Hasbro) - Robot Replicas
Rated 4.50 stars by Collector1
Tiny, evil, spastic, crack addict. Frenzy is all these things and more. A Decepticon spy and all around pychopath, Frenzy is not one to cross with his machine guns and high speed razor disk launchers! The Robot Replica Frenzy is much closer to the CGI model used for the 2007 movie than the previous, none articulated (or limited articulated) toys previously released as accessories with Barricade or the fast action battler toy. Frenzy is the only toy in the Robot Replica line that lacks Revlotech style joints. This is because of the thinness of his limbs would make them impractical, so, Frenzy has socket joints to make up for it. Frenzy has interchangeable arms, the regular claws and a machine gun type limb. Because of the different style joints, and size, Frenzy can not hold one of...[See More]

You now what is better than the millions of superhero toys? the very few secret identity toys! Seriously, as many Superman's and Spider-Man's there are, how often do you see a Clark Kent of Peter Parker toy? This is one of those rare instances in which one is produced. This Peter Parker is dressed accurately to the clothes he often wore during the mid seventies done to the ugly lime green t-shirt. His waist, knees, shoulders and neck are able to move. The two trashcan lids can be...[See More]
