Hey guys! Prince Velkan Valerious was bitten by a Werewolf. Now more monster than man, it it up to his sister Anna to ensure that their family can enter the gates of St. Peter. The Wolfman was made form a Doctor Who Werewolf with the eyes painted white. I normally wouldn't post stuff like this, but he goes with the set. Enjoy! UPDATE 10/6/07 Hey guys! First off, I want to thank Dedi for the great idea! Since the Wolfman's eyes in Van Helsing were NOT white I decided to paint black pupils and then dot them with red. (Dedi's idea) I also painted big black shadows under his eyes. For the saliva (my idea, but approved by Dedi) I just took a hot glue gun and went nuts! I think he looks WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY scarrier now! The new pics are at the bottom, and I've included an "action" shot of him fighting Van Helsing. Thanks Dedi! Enjoy!  |

for how to do cheap but very effective drool fx

I would love to have the werewolf! It'll take a lot of toothpick swords though...
make expressive eyes from sculpt" then gloss them with a high glaze finish
give a really nice contrast between mat and fur - yellow with black surrounds for the eyes would look dynamic

It originally has "expressive eyes" but they looked so small. I thought about making one out of a ML figure the way I did Grizzly, but then I found this.

if you want to make him more Van Helsing movie like - paint expressive eyes - cos the werewolf eyes were NOT white in the movie
make longer ears in sculpt and longer teeth
cut the fingers off and articulate with aves sculpt fixed twist tie wire knotted together
make fake knuckle joints and add the original werewolf finger tips
Get another and paint it black (black as night, black as coal - lol rolling stones)
to make the werewolf van helsing changes into
Then you'll have a true van helsing movie werewolf custom
