Hello all, and thanks for taking a moment to look at my custom Metroid action figures! I'm doing a whole series of these, so check back often to see each new submission! Also, pardon my photos. I've got many talents, photography isn't one of them, so for the most part, these pics will be fairly basic and just a tad grainy.

Anywho, the first item on the agenda is, of course, Samus Aran herself! I used a ML Psylocke figure as the base, two ML Ant-Man helmets to make her domed shoulder pads, and a Sharpie green marker cap for the arm cannon. As you can see, I based her appearance off of her Metroid Prime design, complete with high-gloss metallic paint. All the armor was sculpted using Permatex Epoxy Putty.

Though the pictures don't do it justice, when I first showed the figure to my friend Rama, he thought I'd bought it from an indie company through mail order and wanted to know where to get one himself. I guess that's as good a review as I'm ever gonna get, huh? :D

I love all of your metroid figs and this is one of my favs on the realm. I love how you put the graphics with the ship that made it pop and then with your reference material only set it off that much more. 10 out ot 10. Metroid champ.

Thanks a lot for the positive feedback, guys! Even when people I trust tell me I've done a great job, I usually have no confidence in my work. It's actually better to hear it from strangers, 'cuz I don't think they're just being nice, I think they really mean it!
Keep checking back, I've got a WHOLE LINE of Metroid figures to post here . . . hope you like them too!

when I saw the thumbnail from the "newest customs" page, I thought the base body was from some ironman fodder or other robotic-looking figs... I was surprised to know that psylocke was under that suit of armor. great sculpting man!
