Araki was Lord Chamberlain of the Shi'ar Imperium. A loyalist of Emperor D'Ken's line, he grudgingly served under the rule of Vulcan, preferring his rule over that of Lilandra. He was killed by Gladiator during the Kree-Shi'ar war.
