I follow a Facebook page that is dedicated to the Mario Bros. movie from 1993. Someone who used to work for ERTL (the company that made the Mario film figures) was able to make Yoshi figures, so they are technically official figures. I originally ordered a painted one, but the guy who was going to paint them backed out, so they sent me 2 unpainted figures. I painted one and am holding onto the other. The best part is the head and feet have articulation.

I used the lighter of the 2 figures as it was an almost white, and would be easier to cover with the paint. For painting, I did dry-brushing for all the colors I used. First I used a light green as the base, but the more I wiped off to dry-brush, the more it looked like a lime green, almost yellow which worked out great. After, I used a few different shades of tan and flesh colors to give it a more reptile look. It's my first time painting a reptile figure, it might not be an exact match but it came out better than I expected. After painting the eyes I dabbed it with a black sharpie, I didn't trust using a paintbrush lol.
