"Eat floor - high fiber." - Batman

I took a Batman Begins figure and got to work! He was originally going to be Keaton Batman from the '89 Film but then Neca released theirs and I bought it and this guy just sort of sat on my work bench for a while. Then one day I was like "Well, no one's made a Batman Returns figure yet..." I re-sculpted the armor, made the head from scratch and debated on wether or not to give him neck articulation. I wanted a more screen accurate looking figure so I decided to blend the neck and cowl. I found a really good light weight fabric with a leather finish and wool like interior at hobby lobby and bought a few yards for future capes and for this one of course. Made the belt from a DCUC Batman and moved the pellets around a bit, the buckle is an original sculpt. There's a lot of little film accurate details on this fella including the gloves and boots and body armor. I took an old DCUC cape from a Batman and a Robin and cut the end pieces for the flanges on the cowl so that the cape wouldn't lose any articulation and poseability. I painted him with some Testor's Model Master's Acrylic and Vallejo acrylics and sealed him up with Testor's Dullcoate Matte Finish, added some gloss on the gloves and emblem and Bam!
