The wild and untamed West, a beginning for many and an ending for many more. Here many families and entrepreneurs moved to make a better life for themselves and to just get along. One such family is the Cartwrights. An honorable family, they consist of Ben Cartwright and his sons Adam, Hoss and Little Joe. Together they run their ranch, the Ponderosa and try to keep their neighboring town of Virginia City safe and prosperous. Trouble always shows up though, and it's usually up to the Cartwrights to be the bigger men and show trouble whose boss around Virginia City!!!
