In the land of the Wild Things, imagination and creativity takes hold. Sent to his room without supper, Max is "moved" into the land of the Wild Things. Here he meets and befriends the monstrous inhabitants of the land, even becoming king! Ruling a land is great and all but Max finds himself becoming homesick and lonely. Giving up his title as king and saying goodbye to his friends, Max returns to his house to find supper waiting on the table for him and the land of the Wild Thins waiting for another day when its king may return...
