The oldest and most powerful race aboard Babylon 5, the Vorlons are shrouded in mystery. Captain Sheridan once estimated that Vorlon technology must be at least a thousand years ahead of Earth. The Vorlons have traveled widely but do not welcome other races trying to make contact with them in their territory. Centauri and Earth Alliance ships sent into Vorlon space have disappeared without a trace.

The Vorlon Cruiser is an interstellar military cruiser capable of jump point formation. Vorlons use bio-organic technology and their ships register as life forms.
