The Neo-Otyugh (NE-O-OT-YUG)

The neo-otyugh hates sunlight and lives deep underground where it is dark. The neo-otyugh has two tentacles to grab prey and a mouth full of sharp teeth. Its sensory stalk looms high above the dungeon floor to detect enemies.

The neo-otyugh scavenges and eats almost anything. An intelligent monster, it communicates with telepathic powers. When it attacks, the sharp ridges on its arms are used as weapons. Neo-otyughs have no interest in treasure, but may guard the treasure of other monsters.
