Description:

Physician Dr. Charles McNider was blinded in an explosion meant to kill a mobster he was treating. Determined to fight back against criminals, McNider began a second career as a crime-busting journalist. But Dr. McNider soon discovered that though blind in the light, he could see in the dark. He developed special infrared goggles that enabled him to see in daylight as well and adopted the secret costumed identity of Dr. Mid-Nite.

Dr. Mid-Nite includes two interchangeable right hands, one of which features his owl Hooty.
