SERVICE RECORD: O'Brien, Miles. Currently Chief Operations Officer for Deep Space Nine. A veteran of over 20 years experience. O'Brien's first assignment was on the U.S.S. Rutledge. Although young, he proved his expertise and was soon promoted to Bridge Tactical Officer. O'Brien was later transferred to the U.S.S. Enterprise and promoted to Transporter Chief at the recommendation of Chief Engineer Geordi LaForge. While on the Enterprise, Chief O'Brien met and later married Keiko Ishikawa, the ship's botanist. Due to his outstanding service, Chief O'Brien was promoted once more, this time to Deep Space Nine as Chief Operations Officer, where his creativity in alien technology will be most valuable.
