Louie Spicolli debuted in 1988 at the age of 17 in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). He spent the next few years wrestling for various promotions as well as the WWF. During this time he had few victories in the WWF, but did have a notable win over The Lightning Kid (Sean Waltman). After various roles in the WWF and a stint in Japan, he joined Asistencia Asesoría y Administración as "Madonna's Boyfriend," part of the popular Los Gringos Locos stable, and participated in the landmark When Worlds Collide pay-per-view in 1994, which significantly raised his profile across wrestling promotions.

In 1995, Louie Spicolli adopted a grunge gimmick as Rad Radford, leading to his only WWF pay-per-view appearance, where he teamed with the 1-2-3 Kid and the Bodydonnas to defeat Marty Jannetty, Hakushi, Barry Horowitz, and Bob Holly. After leaving the WWF several months later, he joined ECW, where he wrestled until September 1997 before debuting for WCW. There, he aligned himself with Scott Hall, drawing the ire of Hall's rival, the living legends Larry Zbyszko, in a storyline building toward a pay-per-view match at Superbrawl 8 on February 22. Tragically, Spicolli passed away from a drug overdose just a week prior, on February 15. He was 27 years old.
