Abdullah the Butcher became a legend for relentlessly bloodying his opponents, and was one of the first wrestlers to regularly use foreign objects in the ring; his weapon of choice being an average household fork. He was known as an uncontrollable savage who spoke no English, and thus never gave interviews, relying on managers and his remorseless actions to do the talking for him.The Butcher spent most of his wrestling career travelling from promotion to promotion, as his wrestling gimmick--though extremely popular--tended to wear thin on fans rather quickly.

After a long career beginning in 1958, Abdullah wrestled his last match in 2010, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
