During her adolescence, Jeanne-Marie Beaubier found that she possessed the mutant abilities to fly and travel at superhuman speeds. She has since discovered that whenever she joins hands with her brother Jean-Paul, they produce a radiant strobe effect, often blinding their adversaries into submission! Putting her life as a history teacher behind, "Aurora" joined Alpha Flight, Canada's very own super heroes.
