Ancient beyond reckoning, Treebeard the Ent is one of the last of the dwindling and long forgotten tree shepards of Fangorn Forest. After an eternity of slumber, Treebeard persuades the Ents, a wise, mighty and contemplative people, to join Merry and Pippin in the fight against the darkness threatening their world.
