The Reservist earned his name by going through G. I. Joe Reservist Training with the kind of action you expect from a full-service G. I. Joe team member. His true respect of freedom makes him an ideal guardian of his homeland. The G. I. Joe reserve team is a vital part of the defense against the evil COBRA organization. The Reservist stands ready to defend freedom at a moment's notice. "We'd like to have him on as a full-time G. I. Joe," Duke says, "but we need the Reservist at his own homeland where he can protect his family and community. When needed, the Reservist will travel with the G. I. Joe team to fight COBRA, but defending the home soil is his first duty.
