A race on intelligent, humaniform beings said by some to resemble the Earth mongoose (Herpestes nyula), known primarily for their hostile attitudes and enormous appetites. They consume their prey alive in huge meals that often last for hours. They are arch enemies of the SELAY (planet 6, Beta-Renner system), whom they regard as a food source.
