After scarface devours a dinosaur nest, Tasha's egg is the sole survivior of the terrible T-Rex's feeding frenzy in "The Land of the Lost". Annie saves the orphaned egg by carting it back to the Porter's hidden treehouse. That night, Tasha hatches from the egg and becomes a faithful companion and helper to the Porter family.
Tasha is a Parasauralaphus, a female bipedal dinosaur and stands about 3 1/2 feet tall. She is a harbivore - this means she easts mostly of the vegetation of the land. She has a very big appetite and will eat almost anything! One of her favorite foods is prehistoric melons that she and Annie or Stink collect.
