For without an egg, Shell Splittin' Raphael would be nothing more than a curled up clump of Mutant mass. With a couple of wacky wind-ups, like a tick-tock timer, Shell Splittin' Raphael bursts forth from his pre-cracked cage of egg shell. Then, with the mystery of a newborn Mutant, Raphael rises. It is a sight to behold - and on some occassions, if you listen closely, you will hear a chorus of angels, prompting Shell Splittin' Raphael to emerge with his shell splittin' sais raised and ready for battle action. Once hatched, Shell Splittin' Raphael's ready to take on the Foot and do some more kowabunga crackin' - with his hard hero head or his shell splittin' sais! And Hero Hatchin' Michaelangelo, Eggsplodin' Donatello and Breakin' Loose Leonardo are ready to crack into action with Raphael. No matter how he fights the Foot, you can be sure that Raphael will make the battle eggciting! And he can do it over and over, by curlin' up inside his egg and gettin' cracked up again and again!
