Sanderson Hawkins has large shoes to fill. The sleuthing sidekick to the original Sandman, Wesley Dodds, he possesses a form of precognition manifesting as prophetic dreams, an ability passed down psychically by Dodds upon his demise. These dreams now manifest as nightmares. Using silica-compound copies of Dodds' equipment and uniform (gas masks, gas guns and the wirepoon), "Sand" is able to bring them with him when he alters his shape and density (geokinesis).
This is an incredibly detailed DC Direct action figure, possibly one of my favorites that the company has ever produced. The detail and paint is simply fantastic, and for a DC Direct figure I must say it has VERY good articulation.
