DISTINGUISHED SERVICE NOTATION: On route to Starfleet Academy, Wesley and Captain Picard get stranded on a barren desert world, with no food or water. After Captain Picard is injured, Wesley uses his leadership and technical skills to keep them alive until they are rescued.
