Stuntman and special effects genius Daniel Patrick Cassidy was thrilled to play the title character in the movie "Blue Devil." Creating a full-body costume complete with an ultra-powered exoskeleton and special effects devices is a dream come true. When a demon named Nebiros is inadvertently freed on set, Cassidy uses his costume to send the demon packing, but not before getting a blast of mystical energy. The costume is now grafted to his body permanently. In later years, after dying at the hands of another ArchDemon named Neron, Cassidy is resurrected as a real devil, no longer human. Carrying the Trident of Lucifer, the Blue Devil roams the Earth in search of demons to banish back to Hell.
